This was probably the hardest face to do, because of the eyes. White around and exaggerated crease was not fun.

Movie Character Makeup

Sweeney Todd makeup. All I did was lighten my own skin tone and eliminated redness. I darkened my eyes and brows, then added a little aging. :)

Zombie Day 2

Zombie Look, day 2. I didn't use fake blood this time, I think I was allergic to it. I think it still looks pretty good!

Sooo this is the zombie makeup I did from class. It wasn't very difficult, I'd say the hardest part is doing bruising. Fabulous!!!

Lysistrata

The show was great! My favorite so far after a year of being here at TLU! I had the wonderful chore of tackling the drag makeup for the most part until the "lovely ladies" learned to do it themselves, hair for three of the girls on most nights, and my own makeup! Not to mention being a part of the costume crew! It was great! I learned a ton of new tips and tricks in the makeup world (Elmer's Glue works wonders)! I can't really critique the costuming or the makeup because I had a big hand in it, but if there was one thing that I would change, it would be the fact that there was so much going on costume wise, but there was never anything distracting about it! All-in-all it was a wonderful show and I hope the audience enjoyed it about as much as I did!

So a I was trying to figure out what to do for Halloween this year... And since this blog is devoted to makeup, how is this creepy ventriloquist doll look???

New to This...

Well, here I am doing something I said I would never do, blogging. I don't really know why, but I think I will like this sort of thing (as if Facebook doesn't allow me to post and rant about my life). Well I hope the World Wide We welcomes me into the world of blogging with open arms... Here goes nothing.
